went to Steffic Cafe and Wine company alone last week
while the rest of them were at safra club playing mahjong.
spent 3hours drinking a bottle of red wine by myself.
and the rest came to join me after their game to have their dinner.
the only thing they came teasing about me is that i kept saying
"everything is so cheap and the place is so nice".
but seriously, food and drinks there are damn cheap!!!
they have wine bottles from almost everywhere and prices are very reasonable.

very cosy place!!! nice ambiance

the red wine i drank.
from south africa, cost only about $30+
texture and taste ain't too bad. love it.

the complimentray finger food that came with the wine.
fried prawns (5 in total)

garlic pork! I LOVE THIS TO THE MAXIMUM la.
even got the ingredients from Joe who is working there.
only $6.80. for 2-3pax.

last day of work.
gosh... somehow i miss the place.
but i'm moving on for the better job prospect,
though A LOT more challenging and A LOT more tougher!!!!!!!!!
for the conclusion, it's either I MAKE IT or break it.
but well, in life there's always choices and scarification to be made right?
and i seriously think that this decision is for a better future and a better self.

it was quite a struggle though.
the politics and 'backstabbing' hooha.
but yeah in life, humans are selfish.
and for own good, we have to forgo other peoples' feeling.

networking is important.
so friends, from the bottom of my heart,
please do give me your utmost support, really.

lost my phone on 21st march 2008.
went to the ladies,
and stupidly left the phone there.
after so many calls to my number,
no one answered but lucky thing is the person didn't off it.
at about 11pm the girl answered,
phew!!!!!!! SO DAMN LUCKY LAH.
she was going to return my phone to me the next day.
i went down to find her at harbourfront and got it back.
wanted to give her a red packet as appreciation but she did not want to accept.
so i went sushi tei to get her some tidbits, sweets and chocolate.
sucha nice girl lah....
COCO, THANK her so much!!!!!!!!

Bali Day 7:

last day of bali.
we all didn't feel like leaving.
packed our bags, left them at the reception cause flight was at 10.15pm, and we went out.
the day whereby we went DAYU for lunch and lots of ants were in the soup.

this time round, i felt damn tired from walking and shopping the same long stretch.
plus the weather was so so so damn hot.
fuann, weixiang and i found a cafe to rest while the rest continue to shop.

dinner was the most simple affair in the whole trip.
we had our favourite beef burger.
it really taste good lah!
i don't know what's so special but i reckon it's the beef and bread, like duhz what else?
haha...

while heading back to out hotel to collect our bags to leave for the airport,
we passed by a shop which looks damn good from the outside.
the place is very nicely done up!
even the freaking toilet is so damn beautiful, weixiang didn't dare to use it.
they were merely selling rings and necklace.

dinner! beef burger

arghhhh!!!!!!!!!!! i'm hungry!
the taste still lingers in my mouth....
i can remember how it all taste and smell like.
flaming wings. not spicy at all.

the very nicely done up shop.

our tattooist

so hungry on board.
ordered snacks, cup noodles and drinks.

Bali Day 6:

i brought quite little clothes.
having to either wear back the same thing or wear what i bought.
for the guys, everyday they're just in their bintang singlet which they bought, in different colours.

day 6, if i didn't remember wrongly, we all slept till quite late due to the clubbing session the night before.
after lunch, we practically went on a shopping trip.
to get gifts for friends and family.

then dinner was at sky garden (we went there the previous time as well)
menu was still the same.
we could still remember quite clearly what we ordered and how full the last time we all felt.
but we didn't learn from experience.
this time, we still ordered too much food.
to the extend when our main course came,
we were all damn full already.
having to force the food down our mouth.

customized this for RP30,000 ($4).

Bali Day 5:

it's the day we went to Jimbaran for our seafood dinner
facing the sea and clubbing session.

got up, have breakfast at the hotel.
lunch at legian and we walked around before the transport picked us up at 5.30pm for our jimbaran dinner.
managed to get free transport over but we will have to dine at their seafood restaurant.
it was still damn sunny when we reached,
managed to catch the beautiful sunset and we took quite a number of pictures.
i don't know, maybe because this is the 2nd time i've been there,
everything doesn't seem as exciting already.
but still, i enjoyed.

after dinner, we went for clubbing.
seriously i love the nightlife there lah. whole stretch of pubs and clubs.
and the most fantastic thing about it is,
the drinks are so freaking cheap!!! arghh...
if i would ever be going back, it will be for the nightlife man, nothing else.
haha.
we went to engine room again then we hopped over to paddys.

engine room was fun.
i don't know why they hired male dancers though.
drinks were 1 for 1 before midnight.
then when we went over to paddys, most of them were tired already.
left after awhile.

always the same breakfast which i had for 4 mornings.
it's yummy.
orange juice, omelet with bacon, fried rice and tea.

in the Volcom shop

then we had lunch at legain.
we themed it the DUSTY place.
everywhere was so dusty like as if it had been empty for very long.

cleaning the table. ha

serving us beer
