stupid tuition agency.
it's been a month and they have not send me my payment!
kept calling them up
...... and i don't know if they have too little tutors,
or do they have just one tutor by the name of YVonne
beacuse all the staff who answer calls know who i am.

so i called them up once again, just 1 min ago,
and they actually told me that they'll pass the cheque to Tina (the friend who intro me into the agency).
i'm like WTF la...
i told her, "pass the money to her for? she's just merely a friend whom i know a few months back who happened to intro me to be a tutor in ur agency. i am not that close to her. and if you're going to pass it to her, won't it be even more troublesome... and it'll be more difficult for me to get it from her. she stays in tampines and i stay in jurong."
STUPID....
initially, they always claimed that they had sent out the cheque few weeks back...
but why am i not receiving it!!!
and now you're telling me all these shit.

wanted to wake up early today and go supermarket buy some ingredient and cook some healthy lunch.
but i end up getting up only at 2+.
guess i'll have to do it tml instead.
started my 1st exercise workout yesterday.
i want to keep in shape!!!!!!!!
hahaa...

but for now,
i feel like eating steamboat, steak, long john silver, sushi, fish and co. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :)

felt so sianz at work today.
it's like.... not that i am tired or what.
but i am just sianz.. like so bored.

joey came down to drink tonight.
during closing, we chatted about work.
he was telling me he might quit his job soon.
to me, i felt that this job is not a good catch and he makes me feel like he is enjoying his job previously, a few months back when he started it.
but..... the problem he told me was so similiar to the one that i am encounting.

we treat out staff too nice and too friendly that sometimes you feel like they don't respect you.
now i am learning to change.
know when to treat them as your staff and
when to treat them as your friend at the correct moment and situation.
i am definitely becoming more strict on my waitress now.
late? deduct money.
last minute say can't come to work? deduct money.
always hanging around at the same table? tell them off nicely
sometimes i tend to "boss" them around quite a little.
it's like.......... i always wonder why they don't seem to see what i saw.
ain't they observant enough?
i wasn't like that when i was a waitress.
i gave my best and work my best to impress the manager and make the customers happy.

sometimes...
i wonder if it's just too demanding of me.
but i can't help it, really.
i am the manager.... NOT the waitress!
and i have been nice enough to help you with some of your chores.
i know.....
i can't make everyone like me.
i can't make them have the same working attitude like me.
it's definitely hard to come by a good staff.

OFF DAY.........
went to watch spider lilies with jolin in cineleisure.
she didnt quite understand the show...
but i guess i did..
because previously i read articles on the show and kind of have a rough idea what the show was about.
was expecting a quite boring show as rating given to the show aint very good.
but..alright la.. not bad.

after the movie,
i accompanied jolin to work and i chilled out at RAGE till 10pm with steven and shi kai.

and went over to VERSUS (my previous workplace) to look for ah teck.
it was like fucking empty and dead la.
drank a few glasses and i headed

to ALL IN to look for cynthia and lorawn.
stayed there for awhile and we went to dragonfly.
left at 3.30am... super tired.
but at least on my off day, i manage to meet up many people and catch up with them.

meeting maoxin later at 4.15 in chinatown.
going for checkup appointment for my predential saving plans thing.
oh my... i wonder if they need to test my blood or what....

went shopping with jolin in bugis.
bought 2 really nice skinny jeans, 1 ring and 1 necklace.
there's a new charles and keith outlet in bugis junction.
the shoes are really nice.
shall drop by tml to take a look because just now there were far too many people in the shop,
so it's quite irritating to shop around.
gotta go little india tml to show the new interested owner the flat.
so gotta go open the door.





then after shopping,
i met up with fad and zee for steamboat.
poor zee.... NS on sat!!!
good luck man!
then to arab street for some drinks
and then to mustafa to get zee's ear piece.
they were like telling me,
"yvonne, they will tie up ur bag cause your bag is big and it doesn't have a zip."
i'm like "WTH... then i don't want to go in.my bag is so expensive."
and fad was willing to stay outside with me.
but in the end, OK LA.... go in lo go in lo...
the guard didn't stop me from entering even though i had my big bag with me.
i even took the initiative to look at the guard and pointed to my bag,
"what about my bag?"
and he said, "it's alright."
i was infront and fad was the last to enter.
then the guard called him over after he entered, "excuse me... excuse me.
HAHAHA....
they tied up his bag with the zipper thing.
couldn't stop laughing.
it's like so racist la...
or maybe he knows my bad is expensive.
haha!





after all that,
i went to attend kenny's birthday at velvet dragon(previously MOMO)
now it's much nicer with many nice, red, big, comfortable sofa in the VIP area and in the ladies.
not bad la...
but i just feel that the crowd was not very happening for a wed's night.



was browsing throught stomp.com.sg and i saw this really cute D.I.Y clip.
the baby is so cute.
she simply laughed whenever her dad says the word "daddy".

BUT hey... i don't teach the students for 8 lessons early in the morning at 9am/11am for nothing ok.
worked til late night and i had to get up so early to give tuition.
called up the agency like 4 times already but still no response from them!
ARGHH... terrible.

my little india flat...
difficult to manage.
going to return to landlord end of june.
all the money coming in and going out from the little india rental.... mixed up with my own money...
all like in a mess.
i suck at math la...
even when doing settlement at the pub, i can also take a pretty long time...
dislike figures.
by 1st of july, i'll be able to get all the money settled.
pay back tenants' their deposit...
take back the SP services deposit, flat deposit etc etc....... WOW... rich rich!

"work nightlife, isn't it like no life?"
in fact, i think working nightlife is so much better.
at night, i get to see and meet so many different people.
sometimes opportunities come up with you meet these people. (like how i land up in my manage post now)
and like yest i met a walk in taiwanese customer, who came to singapore to find business opportunity.
he bought a land near marina square and suntec,
to build up his restaurant which will be made from full-glass-exterior.
then my friend who were also in banquet line...
i mean... sometimes u hear and meet great or i can say potential people like that.
a lot of this kind of things la...
i meet people from ALL kind of industries, background, life, culture ETC ETC........
i can say, it's only in nightlife in which you can experience and i guess really see how life is about.
in daytime, everyone is serious at work..
they don't talk so much about their families and friends... probably not the real deep truth.

though i sleep late at night...
i can have my time in the day to do shopping...catch a movie.. dine with my friends(if they are free)
i don't see the much restriction.
i see that daytime job as no life actually..
u work till probably 5.30pm..
go home.. watch tv.... then u slp.
same routine everyday.
probably some will go for a drink after work etc la...
but still.... i guess it's more tiring that way.
of course i know that staying in the nightlife cannot be a long term thing.
some stupid people just think i will end up in nightlife for my entire life..
i know what to do.
now nightlife... i can earn pretty a lot.
will probably work for a few months more, save up , travel, then back to finding a more proper-with-prospect job.
not easy to find a job that i really like.
too fussy and picky.

the staff actually told me that i cannot put the word "waitress" in my ad.
like what the hell...

i told her " i advertised for 2-3 times already and i have been using the word waitress.
and moreover i flipped through your classified today and there's the word ,waitress,
appearing for so many times."
"oh so sorry. it's by the MOM's law that the word, waitress, cannot be used due to the specific need of gender."

alright... so she put in the word "server" instead.
then i got lots of male calling to enquire.
very irritating la...
the number of calls from men were like 70% and ladies 30%.
guys really more in need of jobs? haha

luckily from this time ad,
i manage to employ 2 new waitress.
hope they can really help out and not be like some slacker waitress.

sales hasn't been very good recently.
not say till it's super lousy or cannot make it.
but gotta try boost it a little bit.
going to come up with promotions this month and see if it will help.

anyway, the pub's location is at 37 keong siak road.
